Wests Tigers' first NRLW finals campaign in 2026 was a landmark of Raecene McGregor's debut season with the club.
Players voted the half-back the RLPA Players' Recruit of the Year after she made an immediate impact following her move from St George Illawarra Dragons.
McGregor spent three seasons with the Dragons before joining the Tigers, and was central to their finals achievement.
A winner of The Players' Champion in 2022, she has also claimed three NRLW premierships.
"Raecene McGregor's influence in her first season with the Wests Tigers has been outstanding, and on behalf of the RLPA, I congratulate her on being voted the Players' Recruit of the Year," said Clint Newton, CEO of the RLPA.
"Throughout her career, Raecene has shown how incredibly adaptable and professional she is.
"Having already won three NRLW premierships, she continues to show why she remains one of the competition's dominant players and firmly in the prime of her career.
"In 2026, she moved to a new club, made an immediate difference and became a key player in guiding the Tigers to their first-ever NRLW Finals appearance.

Newton praised McGregor's adaptability and professionalism. She beat Tigers team-mate Shaylee Bent, Sheridan Gallagher, Stacey Waaka and Jesse Southwell for the award.
