Josh Feledy, a centre previously with the Wests Tigers, has officially signed with a new NRL club in search of increased first-grade opportunities following his departure from the Tigers at the conclusion of the 2025 NRL season.
Feledy showcased his talent during his junior career, representing the Under-19s NSW Blues team in 2023. However, he has struggled to secure a consistent spot in the Wests Tigers lineup, managing only three first-grade appearances over the last three years.
Despite primarily competing in the Jersey Flegg Cup and NSW Cup, Feledy's journey is still in its early stages, and he aims to build on his promising junior track record.
After being farewelled by the Tigers, Feledy has now officially joined the Manly Sea Eagles on a development contract for the upcoming season. This transition comes five years after he led the Sea Eagles' Under-17s Harold Matthews Cup team to a premiership.
As he returns to the Northern Beaches, Feledy will be part of a development roster that includes D'Jazirhae Pua'avase, Jackson Shereb, Paul Bryan, and former teammate Brandon Wakeham for the 2026 NRL season.
Wakeham, although yet to play for the Sea Eagles, has a wealth of experience with 40 NRL matches and serves as an international playmaker for Fiji.
