In a dominant display, the NZ Warriors redeemed themselves from their previous loss with a resounding 49-6 victory over the Canberra Raiders in a sudden-death clash at Leichhardt Oval.
According to the report by warriors.kiwi, the Warriors scored an impressive nine tries compared to the Raiders' solitary try.
This victory now propels the Warriors into the preliminary final next week, where they will face either North Sydney or the Rabbitohs for a chance to reach the grand final.
Despite coming off a disappointing 12-26 loss to South Sydney in week one, the Warriors showcased a stronger line-up with numerous changes, guided by coach Slade Griffin.
Their relentless performance saw them take an early lead of 10-0 in just nine minutes, thanks to tries from Jacob Laban and captain Kalani Going.
By halftime, the Warriors had further extended their lead to 26-6, with a try from Ben Farr and a double from interchange forward Maia Sands in the 34th and 39th minutes.
While the Raiders managed to score their only try midway through the first half, they struggled to find a way back into the game against the ruthless Warriors.
