NRLW Team List: One change in squad to face Eels

LeagueNews.co | Robbie Hamilton

The NZ Warriors have announced a squad change ahead of their historic round two NRLW match against the Parramatta Eels at Go Media Stadium, scheduled for Sunday at 1:50 PM.

This game marks a significant moment as it will be the first time the Warriors' NRLW and NRL teams play on the same home game day, with the men's match against the Wests Tigers following at 4:00 PM.

It is also only the second time the NRLW team has played a home game, the first being on September 22, 2019, when they faced St George Illawarra in a stand-alone event at the same venue.

Previously, the Warriors' nine games have been played in Australia.

Head coach Ron Griffiths has named a squad that includes the same 17 players used in their return to the league last Sunday, almost five years after their last game in 2020.

The Warriors fielded a team with seven players holding NRLW experience, while ten players made their debut against a Roosters team filled with seasoned professionals.
