Could this finally be the Warriors' moment?
Don't you say it! Don't you bloody say it!
Let's face it: the unwavering optimism of Warriors fans is well-documented. I'm proud to count myself among them!
We're not shy about expressing the enthusiasm, and as many of you know, the chant "Up the Wahs" is the latest in the tradition of rallying cries.
Each season, fans chant, "It's the year!"-a phrase that resonates through both stadiums and social media, regardless of the team's current performance.
For me, however, it feels different.
Having passionately supported the team since 1995 and experienced its ups and downs, I must admit that I've never embraced that saying.
This isn't due to superstition or a fear of jinxes; rather, the harsh truth is that history has never truly favored us. We've been oh-so-close, but we've never made it over the finish line.
The phrase brings to mind English football fans chanting "It's coming home," only to witness continued heartbreak.
I just find it hard to say.
