The Warriors might be without their second-rower Jackson Ford for some time after he sustained a pec injury during the first half of their match against the Cowboys on Sunday.
Following a tackle, Ford had his arm extended to the side and then was pulled awkwardly during the play.
He was immediately declared out for the remainder of the match and will undergo scans to assess the severity of the injury.
As noted by NRL Physio, the nature of the injury and Ford's quick exit from the field may suggest a moderate to high-grade pectoral injury.
If this assessment is accurate, Ford could be sidelined for a minimum of four weeks. Yet, if the scans indicate a complete pectoral tear, his recovery could take over 10 weeks, possibly leading to an early end to his season.
At halftime, the Warriors hold a narrow lead of 14 to 10, thanks to a hat-trick scored by Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad.
