JFC Team List: Challenging Match Against Top Team

The NZ Warriors are set to face their toughest test of the season against the top-ranked Jersey Flegg Cup team, the Melbourne Storm.

This match will take place at North Harbour Stadium on Saturday, kicking off at 10:15 AM.

Having secured three consecutive victories for the first time this season, the Warriors have climbed to seventh place on the ladder with 18 points, achieved through eight wins, two draws, and eight losses.

Their recent wins include a comeback against the Sea Eagles (26-22), a decisive victory over the Silktails (40-18), and a thrilling win against the Wests Tigers (44-42).

In stark contrast, the Storm dominate the under-21 competition, leading with 31 points from 14 wins, one draw, and three losses.

Earlier this season in May, the Warriors faced the Storm in Melbourne and lost 38-12.

Although the Warriors started strong, scoring first and trailing just 6-12 at halftime, they ultimately allowed 26 points in the second half.

The upcoming game promises to be a significant challenge for the Warriors as they seek to maintain momentum against a formidable opponent.
