The Warriors' victory over the Wests Tigers on Saturday night has put them one step closer to securing a spot in the finals.
Despite their early 12-0 lead, the Warriors' defence struggled throughout the game, allowing the Tigers to score 12 points in just two minutes.
This performance has left coach Andrew Webster with a lot to think about before their next match against the Sea Eagles.
However, the Warriors were inspired by a standout performance from five-eighth Daine Laurie, who not only set up three tries but also scored one himself.
Despite being the NRL's cellar-dwellers, the Tigers gave the third-ranked Warriors a run for their money in what was technically a home match for the Tigers but played in Hamilton, New Zealand.
The Warriors' woes were further compounded by the loss of Wayde Egan, who was sent to the hospital after being hit by an elbow while attempting to make a tackle.
In the earlier stages of the game, the Warriors made a positive start, with Mitch Barnett and Luke Metcalf combining for the opening try.
Shaun Johnson then extended their lead by sending Adam Pompey over the try line.
However, Laurie's individual brilliance brought the Tigers back into the game.
