'Juggernaut in waiting': Warriors smash NRLW records in return season

While the Warriors did not secure a finals spot in their first season back in the NRLW, their return to the league has proven to be a tremendous success in numerous other aspects.

The team consistently attracted large crowds, often playing in double-header events alongside the club's NRL team at Go Media Stadium. They surpassed the previous standalone NRLW attendance record on three occasions.

The Warriors set a standalone record with an attendance of 7,195 during their last home match against the Broncos at FMG Stadium Waikato. Notably, Round 10 of this season became the most attended round in NRLW history, drawing a total of 44,300 fans.

Furthermore, their other two home matches at FMG Stadium Waikato also saw impressive turnout, with 5,968 fans attending the Round 7 clash against the Raiders and 5,712 in Round 8 against the Sharks.

Additionally, viewership for NRLW games in New Zealand has surged by 16% this season, showcasing the undeniable support for the Warriors.
