Walker Encouraged to Play Beyond 2023

South Sydney Rabbitohs standout Cody Walker has garnered support from teammate Campbell Graham to continue playing beyond this season after delivering exceptional performances and showing no signs of decline.

With Walker's current contract set to conclude at the end of this year, he isn't rushing to make any decisions regarding retirement, especially as South Sydney aims for a spot in the finals.

Graham has lauded Walker's remarkable abilities on the field, noting that he continues to perform at an elite level. Last week, he led the Rabbitohs to a convincing 32-12 victory against the Parramatta Eels, scoring two tries.

"All conversations with Cody at the start of the year was that he didn't wanna make a decision or give too much thought about it until the back end of this season," Graham shared on SEN 1170 Drive.

"I think he was going to get a gauge of how we went as a group and where he felt he was at, performance wise and obviously physically."

Walker has also received high praise for his coaching ability, with Graham expressing that it feels like they have an additional coach guiding them during games.
