Paul Vaughan of the Warrington Wolves is set to make a quick return after sustaining a compound fracture to his finger during their Challenge Cup quarter-final win over St Helens.

Despite the gruesome injury, Vaughan was able to receive treatment and return to the game later on.

However, coach Sam Burgess emphasized the need to carefully assess Vaughan's injury before allowing him to fully return to play.

Burgess praised Vaughan's performance, stating, "Regardless of the bump on his hand he managed to get us forward in the second half when we really needed him." Vaughan will be closely monitored by the team's medical staff to prevent any potential infections from developing.

Vaughan's ability to push through the injury and continue playing demonstrates his determination and resilience on the field.

The team is hopeful that he will be back in action soon, ready to contribute to their upcoming matches.
