Newcastle fullback Tamika Upton has had an outstanding week, as she claimed the Karyn Murphy Medal for the second time in her career.
The NRLW grand final saw Upton shine as she scored two tries and set up two more, leading the Knights to a 24-18 victory over the Titans at Accor Stadium.
Despite trailing 18-12 at the 60-minute mark, Upton's individual brilliance turned the game around for her team.
This win marks Upton's fourth grand final victory, making her the first player in the premiership era to win consecutive player of the match awards in the grand final.
In addition to her impressive attacking performance, Upton also ran for 195 metres and had three tackle breaks.
Her remarkable achievements this season mirror those of Cowboys legend Johnathan Thurston, who won both the Dally M Medal and the grand final player of the match award in 2015.
