In a bold move that can only be described as the stuff of legends, Sydney Roosters winger, Daniel Tupou, has solidified his rugby league future by signing a two-year contract with the club that will see him donning the Roosters jersey until at least the end of the 2026 season.

Having been a mainstay in the Roosters squad since his debut in 2012, Tupou has left a trail of destruction in his wake, scoring a remarkable 156 tries in 258 first-grade matches.

It's no surprise that he holds the coveted title of the club's all-time leading tryscorer and will soon be the longest-serving player at Bondi Beach.

A three-time premiership winner, Tupou's expertise in the backline will be key for the Roosters next season, especially with the departure of Joseph Manu and Joseph Suaalii to the 15-man code.

As the linchpin of the team, Tupou's presence on the field is sure to strike fear into the hearts of their opponents.

Rumors of a move to the Super League outfit, Catalan Dragons, were swirling around the ten-time NSW Blues Origin winger, but Tupou ultimately decided to stay true to his roots and continue his legacy with the Sydney Roosters.

"I'm stoked beyond belief to keep the flame alive with the Sydney Roosters," said Tupou, showing his unwavering loyalty to the club that has become his home.

With Tupou's commitment to the cause, the Roosters are gearing up for an electrifying season ahead, ready to take on all comers and conquer the rugby league world once again.
