Jake Trbojevic Faces Scans After Cheekbone Injury
Manly Sea Eagles captain Jake Trbojevic is now on edge following a serious cheekbone injury sustained during Friday's game against the Dragons.
This injury resulted in the closure of his right eye, forcing him off the field for the entire second half.
Trbojevic exited the game in the final moments of the first half to undergo a Head Injury Assessment, where the full severity of his cheekbone injury was revealed during examinations in the dressing rooms.
Even though he passed his HIA and was officially cleared to return, he opted to remain on the bench as the second half began.
Currently, the Manly forward is anticipated to receive scans, which will help determine if his injury is more serious than previously thought.
Since appointing Kieran Foran as their interim Head Coach, the Sea Eagles have experienced success, achieving two consecutive victories.
They will aim for a third win in a row when they face the North Queensland Cowboys in Townsville.
