Trbojevic Discusses Future Beyond 2026

Jake Trbojevic Discusses Future Plans

Jake Trbojevic, a seasoned forward for the Manly Sea Eagles, has shared that conversations regarding his career are in progress, hinting that he intends to extend his playing days beyond 2026.

After a challenging start to the season, Trbojevic has revitalized his performance with the guidance of Kieran Foran.

This improvement has aligned with a positive shift for Manly. The team faced three consecutive losses prior to the dismissal of Anthony Seibold, but they have since been undefeated under the interim coach.

In an interview with News Corp, Trbojevic expressed that he is enjoying playing again and emphasized the importance of making a decision that benefits both himself and the club regarding his next contract.

"It's been a really enjoyable month. Having Foz (Foran) take over has been a breath of fresh air, and the month of footy we've put together makes life a lot easier," he remarked.

"The last few weeks have definitely made things a lot easier. I just want to make a good decision for both me and the club. I don't want to be a burden."

"We're obviously always having a chat, and there's great respect between both parties, so it won't be far away."

Reports indicate that Manly has proposed a contract to Trbojevic, as they are eager to retain him for another season, recognizing his crucial experience within the roster.

Now 32, the forward has faced concussion challenges in recent years, but he aims to contribute consistently as Manly strives for an unexpected spot in the top eight.
