Part 3 of the countdown of the Top 50 NRL Players for 2025 is here, highlighting a trend where many players have dropped in rankings compared to last year.
Remarkably, among the players ranked between 30 and 21 this year, only one has seen an improvement in their ranking, while five have declined, and four were not on the list at all a year ago.
Below are players ranked 30 through 21 for 2025.
Part 1 (50-41)
Part 2 (40-31)
Last year: 41
The Broncos emerged as premiers in 2025, largely due to the ongoing development of Patrick Carrigan.
Although he may not receive the same level of recognition as Reece Walsh, Carrigan's presence as a star lock-forward makes him a certain choice for representative teams at the highest level. He synergizes well alongside Payne Haas.
His contributions in the middle third often go unnoticed, especially regarding his defensive efforts, yet he stands out among the best lock forwards in the game today.
