In Round 11 of the NRL MVP race for 2025, Clint Gutherson and Keaon Koloamatangi have both narrowed the gap to the top five, following standout performances that earned them perfect game ratings.
They were among five players who received maximum points from all judges.
The others who joined them in this elite group are Parramatta Eels winger Zac Lomax, Cronulla Sharks prop Addin Fonua-Blake, and Canberra Raiders fullback Kaeo Weekes.
Notably, other players including Mark Nawaqanitawase, Max King, Matt Burton, Herbie Farnworth, Mitchell Barnett, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, Luke Metcalf, Jason Saab, Lehi Hopoate, and Tolutau Koula also received perfect votes from at least one judge.
Despite these performances, Terrell May continues to lead the overall standings, although his lead has diminished; he garnered only seven points in Round 11.
His competitors, Payne Haas and James Tedesco, scored ten and eight points, respectively.
May's absence from the upcoming State of Origin window, like Tedesco's, could lead to changes in the rankings in the weeks to come.
Hudson Young is currently in fourth place, not far behind, while there is a notable gap before reaching a cluster of players.
William Kennedy holds fifth, with Gutherson and Koloamatangi in close pursuit, along with Jye Gray, Connor Tracey, and Cameron Munster, who complete the top ten.
This dynamic is indicative of a competitive MVP race as players vie for recognition while navigating through the challenges of the season.
