Stefano Utoikamanu says he is eager to face Samoa again, a year after his Tonga debut ended almost as soon as it began.
The 26-year-old has little recollection of last year's Pacific Nations Championships match, after he was knocked out in the opening minute.
Utoikamanu had taken a hit-up when Samoan front-rower Francis Molo hit him high. Molo was placed on report for a dangerous tackle, and the Storm forward's match was over.
"It was pretty crazy because I was so excited to play for Tonga," Utoikamanu, 26, said.
"I got a high shot. But it's how the game is," he said. "They miss some of them, unfortunately that was one they missed."
He said he was angry at the time, but added: "I was angry after that. But it's a year on, it's in the past, I'm just excited to go up against them again."
