The Sharks have confirmed that Toby Rudolf will be sidelined for one match after copping a ban for a Grade 2 Dangerous Contact (Tripping) incident.
The front-rower was in the spotlight early in the season-ending clash against the Panthers, putting him in hot water with the officials.
As a result, Rudolf will have to sit out the Round 1 showdown against Penrith in Las Vegas next year.
In other news, Siosifa Talakai has decided to accept an $1800 fine following a Grade 1 Dangerous Contact incident involving Jarome Luai from Penrith.
Despite the setback, the Sharks are gearing up for a strong start to the next season and are determined to bounce back from this setback.
