AJ Brimson and Jojo Fifita, players for the Gold Coast Titans, are currently awaiting the results of scans following their departure from the field during the team's Round 22 victory against the Cowboys on Sunday.

Brimson, who plays as the team's fullback, managed to return to the game and play in the centres during the second half despite suffering a suspected oblique injury.

However, further assessment is required to determine the full extent and severity of his injury.

On the other hand, Fifita, a young outside back, left the field at halftime, and the interim head coach, Jim Lenihan, suggested that he may have sustained a syndesmosis injury.

The 20-year-old's full diagnosis will be revealed once the scan results are available.

In a different match, Jessika Elliston, a player in the NRLW competition, passed her head injury assessment after being sent off the field during golden-point play against the Broncos.

Additionally, Evania Pelite and Steph Hancock, both players for the Titans, have been cleared of any major injuries and are expected to be included in the team's lineup for their Round 3 clash against the Sharks on Saturday.
