The Gold Coast Titans have announced that eight players will leave the club at the end of 2025.
While their contracts extend until late October, six players who are uncontracted for the upcoming year will depart alongside two previously confirmed exits.
Kieran Foran, set to retire, and Iszac Fa'asuamaleaui, who will be joining the Catalans Dragons, will be leaving, as will props Jacob Alick-Wiencke and Ben Liyou, second-rower Ryan Foran, outside back Harley Smith-Shields, hooker Sean Mullany, and half Thomas Weaver.
The only uncontracted player remaining officially is outside back Tony Francis, although reports indicate that he has signed a new contract with the team.
Among the departures, Weaver may come as the biggest surprise. Despite not securing a permanent spot in the first-grade lineup, the skilled half has considerable potential and could find opportunities elsewhere.
Smith-Shields has struggled to make an impact since his transition from the Canberra Raiders, facing challenges with form and injuries, while Mullany and Alick have also lingered on the fringes of first-grade action.
