Wests Tigers have proudly unveiled their 2025 Indigenous jersey, a design inspired by five young Aboriginal athletes from the South West Sydney Academy of Sport (SWSAS).

Led by Indigenous Athlete Program Coordinator Brodee Mate, this project allowed these emerging athletes to express their hopes and dreams through Aboriginal art.

Each athlete contributed unique artwork that symbolizes their sporting aspirations and cultural identity, heavily influenced by their admiration for Wests Tigers' Indigenous players.

The design centers on individual journeys, combining elements that reflect the young athletes' ambitions to emulate role models like Jahream Bula, Jack Bird, and Heath Mason.

The jersey embodies their aspirations of one day representing their culture at a professional level, "with pride."

The final design integrates various symbols, such as meeting places, journey paths, stars, totems, and protective figures, creating a unified piece of art.

This jersey stands as a powerful visual representation of identity, ambition, and inspiration.
