In Round 10, the Wests Tigers Jersey Flegg side faced a challenging match against the Panthers, suffering a 40-20 defeat.
The game started poorly for the Tigers, with the Panthers quickly establishing an 18-0 lead within the first 15 minutes, thanks to tries from Josh Ruxton, Jenson Tuaoi, and Zakauri Clarke.
The gaps in the Tigers' defense became apparent as the Panthers continued to dominate, and after Demiah Ainuu added to their lead, Solomone Saukuru finally got Wests on the scoreboard.
His try came from a standout play by Max Liles, who facilitated the gap for Saukuru to score.
However, the Panthers responded with Bayden Moran's try, bringing the halftime score to 28-6 in their favor.
Post-break, Cameron Kanaan attempted to shift momentum by scoring for the Tigers after capitalizing on a grubber kick from Levi Conti.
Despite Kanaan's effort, Clarke and Ruxton both scored their second tries, all but sealing the game for Penrith.
In the final moments, the Tigers managed to add two late tries.
Jared Haywood scored off a deflected grubber kick, and Wests SG Ball graduate Jack Nicholas marked his U/21's debut with a try in the corner.
The match concluded with a clear victory for the Panthers at 40-20.
