Wests Tigers star Adam Doueihi is facing a potential exit from the club, despite being offered an improved contract.

Reports indicate interest from two rival NRL clubs, including the Dragons, where he previously underwent a medical at the end of last season, and Penrith, the four-time defending champions, who may see him as a viable replacement for Luke Garner, currently exploring opportunities elsewhere.

Doueihi has showcased his versatility, playing various positions for the Tigers, including center, halfback, and lock.

Notably, he played a crucial role in the team's recent dramatic victory over the Titans, scoring a last-minute field goal that secured a 21-20 win in front of enthusiastic fans at Leichhardt Oval.

At 26 years old, Doueihi's current contract is set to expire at the end of the season.

His recent signing with renowned player agent Isaac Moses has sparked speculation about his move to a rival club in 2026.

Nine league reporter Michael Chammas confirmed the interest a rival club has in Doueihi but noted that Tigers officials are eager to retain him.

"There's definitely a chance (he could stay at the Tigers)," Chammas remarked on Nine's 100% Footy.

He also mentioned that the Tigers had recently met with Doueihi and increased their initial offer from around $350,000 to approximately $400,000, although the Dragons remain a potential threat.

In summary, while there are signs that Doueihi could leave Wests Tigers for either the Dragons or Penrith, efforts are being made to secure his ongoing commitment to the club.

The situation continues to evolve as the season progresses.
