Contract negotiations are currently underway as the Wests Tigers aim to secure Terrell May on a long-term deal.

As Taylan May prepares for his NSW Cup debut with the Tigers, reports from zerotackle.com indicate the club is keen to extend Terrell's contract.

Since joining from the Sydney Roosters, Terrell has emerged as one of the top front-rowers in the competition, even entering discussions for a spot on the NSW Blues State of Origin team.

May has been impressive, consistently playing 80 minutes each game and proving impactful on both offense and defense.

His performance has placed him among the leading contenders in the Dally M leaderboard at the season's start.

Currently in the first year of a three-year deal extending to the end of 2027, his outstanding play has prompted the Tigers to consider a contract extension.

According to News Corp, discussions have begun between the Tigers and May's manager, David Rawlings of Foundation Sports Group, about a potential contract extension.

The club views retaining Terrell as crucial as they aim to strengthen their roster under coach Benji Marshall and CEO Shane Richardson.
