The Wests Tigers suffered a tough 10-8 loss to the Canberra Raiders in Round 14 of the Jersey Flegg Cup at Lidcombe Oval.
The Raiders got on the scoreboard early through fullback Payten Jenkins, but the Tigers fought back with winger Navren Willett scoring a try to even the score.
The Raiders took the lead again with lock Delahia Wigmore crossing the try line and converting it, giving them a 6-point advantage going into halftime.
Willett stepped up once more, scoring his second try to bring his team within two points, but despite a thrilling 70 minutes of play, the score remained the same.
Up next for the Wests Tigers is a showdown against the Warriors in a triple-header at Leichhardt Oval on Saturday 15th June.
It's sure to be a fierce battle on the field, with both teams looking to come out on top and secure a win.
