In a display of sportsmanship and responsibility, Wests Tigers forwards David Klemmer and Justin Matamua have taken the honorable route by accepting early guilty pleas for their Grade 1 offences against the Dragons.

Klemmer, known for his tough playing style reminiscent of Rugby League legends of old, has owned up to two Grade 1 Careless High Tackle charges, resulting in a combined fine of $2000.

Meanwhile, Matamua has admitted to a Grade 1 Dangerous Contact charge, leading to a $1000 penalty.

Despite these setbacks, both players will be suiting up for this weekend's showdown against the Panthers in Bathurst, looking to bounce back stronger than ever.

It's moments like these that truly test a player's resilience and character, highlighting the true spirit of Rugby League.
