Melbourne Storm player Cole Geyer will have a special NRL grand final day for multiple reasons.

He will be a part of the Brisbane Tigers team competing against the South Sydney Rabbitohs in the NRL State Championship, which could potentially make history.

This is a significant moment for Cole, especially after winning this year's Hostplus Cup grand final.

It will also be his first time starting as the bench hooker for the Tigers, an achievement in his debut year of Cup.

Additionally, his father, former Melbourne Storm winger Matt Geyer, will be chasing his own glory as the assistant coach of the Gold Coast Titans in the NRLW grand final.

This will be a memorable day for Cole, capping off a tremendous season for him.
