There's no slow play for James Tedesco as he sets his sights on his Rugby League future as the captain of the Sydney Roosters.

The champion fullback, who has been earning top dollar, has bounced back to peak form this season despite some setbacks in the past year.

Losing his State of Origin spot didn't hold him back as he soared back to his best with the Roosters, putting them in a strong position in the top four and hunting for a home final spot.

Coach Trent Robinson's team has faced their fair share of challenges this season, but Tedesco's determination and form have been key to their success.

The Roosters skipper has made it clear that he's keen to keep playing beyond his current contract, possibly even into 2026.

"The body is feeling good, so I don't see any reason to hang up the boots just yet," Tedesco shared with The Sydney Morning Herald.
