The Sydney Roosters are excited to announce that captain and reigning Dally M Medallist James Tedesco has signed a contract extension, ensuring he will remain with the club until at least the end of 2027.

With 117 games as captain, Tedesco ranks third on the Roosters' all-time captaincy list, following in the footsteps of Jake Friend and Brad Fittler. He expressed his pride in extending his journey with the Roosters, stating that it feels like home.

In a remarkable 2025 season, Tedesco was honored with multiple accolades, including the Dally M Medallist, Captain of the Year, and Fullback of the Year. Moreover, he received the Jack Gibson Medal for a record seventh time, which is the Roosters' highest individual honor.

Head Coach Trent Robinson praised Tedesco's significant impact on the team and the exemplary leadership he provides as both a captain and a competitor.
