Maxigesic Recovery Report: NRL and NRLW squads

The New Zealand Warriors' halfback, Te Maire Martin, will be sidelined for another two weeks due to a hamstring strain.

This injury occurred just two days before the Indigenous Round match against Penrith last Friday.

Martin is anticipated to return for the round 26 game against the Newcastle Knights at Go Media Stadium on August 30.

Consequently, he will miss the upcoming matches against the Broncos this Saturday and the Rabbitohs on August 22.

While Martin is out, front rower Demitric Vaimauga has been cleared to play after recovering from a rib injury.

Jackson Ford, who has a pectoral injury, is also expected to return for the final rounds.

Currently, only two players are facing injury issues in the NRLW squad.

Prop Matekino Gray has recovered from a foot injury that kept her out for the entire season so far.

Middle forward Laishon Albert-Jones is projected to be cleared next week after her calf injury sustained in round one against the Bulldogs.
