Daniel Tupou is retiring with 307 appearances for the Sydney Roosters across 15 seasons, having spent his entire NRL career with the club.
The veteran winger announced his immediate retirement after winning his fourth premiership with the Roosters.
Tupou joined the club after being recruited by Peter O'Sullivan.
His decision comes despite the Roosters recently offering him a one-year contract extension and multiple offers from Super League clubs.
"To play more than 300 games, win four Premierships and share those moments with so many great teammates is something I'll always be proud of." Tupou said in a statement.
He also said the club had become his home and that the people and shared memories were what he would treasure most.
