melbournestorm.com.au reported that the Sunshine Coast Falcons, the feeder team for the Melbourne Storm, kept their finals hopes alive with a dominant 40-18 win over the Norths Devils on Saturday.

The Falcons had eight Storm contracted players on the field, which proved to be too much for the Devils.

They scored seven tries throughout the match, showing their superiority.

Ryan Papenhuyzen had a standout performance, contributing a try, two line break assists, two try assists, and 127 run meters.

Tyran Wishart and Sua Faalago, both Storm contracted players, also scored tries during the game.

Papenhuyzen, who recently returned from injury, ended the game with a bang by scoring his first try.

Jack Gibbons, a Falcons teammate, scored a double early on, giving the Falcons a comfortable lead that they maintained until the end.

Papenhuyzen was also impressive with his kicking, successfully converting 6 out of 7 attempts.
