Sunday session: Storm v Sharks; Titans v Cowboys

On Sunday, a significant rivalry reignites as the Storm face off against the Sharks for crucial premiership points.

Since their memorable 2016 grand final clash, Melbourne and Cronulla have competed 16 times, with the Storm leading 9-7, including a five-match winning streak from 2019 to 2022.

In the second game of the day, the Titans host the Cowboys on the Gold Coast, where a victory is imperative for both teams.

The North Queensland Cowboys have struggled recently, conceding 138 points while scoring only 26 in their last three matches, which has dropped them six spots on the ladder.

Despite this, they remain just one win away from the top eight.

Conversely, the Titans sit at the bottom of the ladder after their loss to the Eels and face the threat of earning a second wooden spoon in their history if their form does not improve.
