The Melbourne Storm expressed pride in their players who competed in the 2025 State of Origin series, particularly after Queensland's 2-1 series victory led by coach Billy Slater and captain Cameron Munster.

Munster captained the Maroons from Game Two, supported by teammates Harry Grant, Trent Loiero, and Xavier Coates, while Jack Howarth participated as a squad member.
On the New South Wales side, forward Stefano Utoikamanu played in the second and third games, joined by Storm's Frank Ponissi and Craig Bellamy, who were part of the Blues camp throughout the series.
