Another club has stepped back from the pursuit of Melbourne Storm front-rower Tui Kamikamica, following the examples set by the Brisbane Broncos and South Sydney Rabbitohs.

According to zerotackle.com, Kamikamica, a key player for the Storm since 2017, may soon leave the club as he is off-contract at the end of this season.

Although his contract includes a club option extending to 2026, it is unlikely that the Melbourne Storm will exercise this option due to ongoing salary cap challenges.

The team is expected to focus on developing younger talents like Lazarus Vaalepu and Ativalu Lisati.

This situation has led to uncertainty for Kamikamica, who has never faced this before in his first-grade career.

He has recently been linked with a number of teams both in Australia and in the UK's Super League.

As reported by The Courier-Mail, the North Queensland Cowboys have now joined the Brisbane Broncos and South Sydney Rabbitohs in ruling themselves out of the race for the Fijian international.
