In the big news out of Melbourne, the Melbourne Storm have welcomed four new life members into their prestigious club.

Among the new inductees are three players and one staff member who have made significant contributions to the team.

The Storm held their life members dinner on the same night as the NRL's Hall of Fame ceremony, where Ron Coote was immortalized as the 14th Immortal.

This added extra excitement to the evening as Christian Welch, Cameron Munster, Nelson Asofa-Solomona, and staff member Ashley Tucker were honored by the club.

Welch, a true stalwart of the team, now joins the esteemed ranks as the 35th life member of the Storm.

With 158 games under his belt and a captaincy in both 2022 and 2023, Welch's leadership and dedication to the team have not gone unnoticed.

Having been a part of the 2020 NRL premiership-winning team, Welch's journey with the club started as a junior in the under-20 competition before rising through the ranks to make his NRL debut in 2015.

Asofa-Solomona, a formidable force in the forward ranks, also earned this prestigious honor for his contributions since making his NRL debut in 2015.

The Storm continues to celebrate their legacy and honor those who have played a significant role in the club's success, solidifying their place in Rugby League history.
