'I reckon he's gonna tear it up': Sevens convert backs Moses Leo to shine at the Storm if he decides to make the switch [from] codes

The Storm has already transformed one rugby sevens player into a star of the NRL, and it looks like they could have their sights set on another potential talent.

According to news.com.au, the Storm has a track record of taking former rugby sevens players under their wing and turning them into success stories.

Will Warbrick, a silver medallist from Tokyo, has been a shining example of this, scoring an impressive 27 tries in just 43 games across two seasons for the Storm.

At 26 years old, just like Moses Leo, the towering winger Warbrick is confident that the New Zealand Olympian has what it takes to make a mark in rugby league, especially if he joins a club like the Storm that is known for nurturing players like him.

"He's a real game-changer, a top-notch athlete with speed and skill to boot.

His offload and footwork are on point, making him a real threat on the field.

With those attributes, I have no doubt he'll thrive in the NRL.

I can't draw a direct comparison, but he's definitely got that X-factor," Warbrick commented.

"I've gotten to know Moses pretty well, although his plans for the future remain a mystery as of now.

What I can say for certain is that he's not only a stellar rugby player, but also a top bloke with a great attitude.

Wherever he ends up, I'm certain he'll excel.

"He's a hard worker with exceptional talent, so if he decides to make the move over here, I reckon he'll do just fine.

But only time will tell."
