An Aussie sporting hero was caught red-handed by sharp-eyed viewers basking in the glory of NSW's State of Origin win on Wednesday.
Fans tuning into the post-match celebrations got a bonus surprise when they peered into the NSW Blues' inner sanctum.
As the Blues savored their epic State of Origin triumph, eagle-eyed supporters noticed an AFL icon lurking in the shadows.
Blues great Andrew Johns, preparing to enter the sheds, couldn't steal the spotlight as the man standing beside him turned heads.
That man happened to be none other than AFL champion and Brownlow Medal recipient Ben Cousins.
Cousins was soaking up the celebratory atmosphere before Johns made his entrance, with Blues players reveling in victory and sharing a beverage or two after clinching a decisive 14-4 win over the Maroons.
