Staggs Faces Fine After NRL Match Incident

Katoni Staggs has discovered the outcome following his team's exhilarating win against the Melbourne Storm in their rematch of the grand final.

The Match Review Committee has issued him a charge for a Grade 1 Careless High Tackle involving his opponent, Moses Leo, during the final moments of last night's game.

For this infringement, Staggs faces a fine of $1000, but should he choose to contest the charge, a guilty verdict at the panel would result in a $1500 penalty.

He was the sole player charged arising from the NRL matches played on Friday night.

As they look ahead, the Broncos will make their way back to Brisbane to prepare for their upcoming clash against their local rivals, the Dolphins, scheduled for next Friday.
