In an exciting development for two talented young rugby league players from Queensland, the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have opened the doors to give them a taste of the NRL life.

As part of their partnership with St Brendan's College, Year 11 students Simon Green and Jake Oberhardt were given the incredible opportunity to observe the Manly NRL squad at a field session.

This unique experience came in addition to their training with the Harold Matthews and SG Ball squads.

The collaboration between the Sea Eagles and St Brendan's aims to enhance coach education, share valuable resources, and provide clear pathways for aspiring players to make it to the NRL.

St Brendan's has an impressive pedigree when it comes to producing NRL talent, with names like Harry Grant, Ben Hunt, and Corey Oates among their alumni.

It's clear that this partnership is built on a strong foundation of rugby league excellence.

Notably, Manly Coach Anthony Seibold himself is a proud graduate of St Brendan's College, adding an extra layer of significance to this growing alliance.

Green and Oberhardt, both with their own unique skills and positions on the field, were specifically chosen by the Head of Recruitment and Director of Rugby League at St Brendan's College, highlighting the immense potential that these two players possess.

The Sea Eagles have certainly made a wise decision in nurturing these promising young men, and their future in the NRL is one to watch with anticipation.
