In a twist of fate, the South Sydney Rabbitohs have secured the services of Euan Aitken, after narrowly missing out on Tevita Pangai Junior.

Aitken, a versatile player who can slot into the centres or second row, will be joining the Rabbitohs next season under the guidance of legendary coach Wayne Bennett.

Currently on the mend from a pec injury, Aitken brings a wealth of experience to the Rabbitohs squad with his 192 NRL appearances under his belt.

The Scottish international has previously played for the St George Illawarra Dragons, New Zealand Warriors, and most recently, The Dolphins.

"Euan has proven himself on the NRL stage and has represented his country with pride.

His addition will no doubt bolster the forward pack for the next three seasons," remarked Mark Ellison, the Rabbitohs' Head of Football.

This signing marks a new chapter for Aitken and the Rabbitohs, as they look to make their mark in the upcoming NRL seasons.

Watch out for Aitken's impact on the field as he brings his skill and experience to the table.
