In a standout performance, Cameron Smith's two tries propelled Leeds Rhinos to a 5th straight Super League victory, deepening the struggles of the Warrington Wolves, who recently lost in the Challenge Cup final.

According to bbc.com, Smith emerged from the bench to penetrate Warrington's tough defense in the first half, contributing to Leeds' lead, complemented by Jake Connor's conversion and a penalty for a comfortable halftime advantage.

Despite a spirited showing from Warrington, their effort faltered in the second half.

Smith scored again, and tries from Brodie Croft, Tom Holroyd, Connor, and Morgan Gannon solidified Leeds' position, keeping them competitive with top contenders Hull Kingston Rovers and Wigan Warriors.

Although Warrington got a momentary lift from a superb try by Jake Thewlis, they ultimately fell short, with Ben Currie managing a late consolation score.

Marc Sneyd's two conversions helped him surpass Andy Farrell, placing him fourth on the all-time Super League kickers' list with 1,027 goals.

Warrington's defeat was made even tougher following their morale-draining loss to Hull KR at Wembley the previous week, compounded by the injury of full-back Matt Dufty, who suffered a fractured eye socket.

However, there remains a glimmer of hope for their season as George Williams returned for his first Super League match since April 12.
