Fotu-Moala Set to Make NRLW Debut as Third Sister in Competition

Metanoia Fotu-Moala is set to make her NRLW debut with the NZ Warriors in their round four match against the Gold Coast Titans on Saturday at 2:45 PM.

She will become the third sibling from the Fotu-Moala family to compete in the league, joining her twin sister Maatuleio and older sister Teuila.

Head coach Ron Griffiths called up the 26-year-old forward, who recently got married, to the interchange bench after second rower Shakira Baker was sidelined due to a pectoral injury.

This adjustment means Maarire Puketapu, who has been on the bench for the first three games, will move to the second row, with Fotu-Moala filling the interchange spot.

In addition to Fotu-Moala, there will be two other debutantes this week: hooker Avery-Rose Carmont and forward Makayla Eli, who will also feature on the interchange.
