Roosters flyer Junior Pauga, who was previously unloading shipping containers, received a call that offered him a chance to join the Roosters NRL pre-season in 2023.
The news, reported by roosters.com.au, highlights Pauga's remarkable journey from shipping containers to the semi-finals.
After being informed by the Wests Tigers that there was no future for him at the club, the 27-year-old decided to return home to Brisbane and live with his family while working full time at a freight company.
Having already experienced setbacks with the Warriors, Broncos, and Wests Tigers systems, Pauga had accepted that his NRL dream was over.
However, when presented with the opportunity to join the Roosters, he packed up his belongings and returned to his share house in Auburn, ready for a fresh start.
