The Sharks are over the moon as Nikora Williams, Alex Challenor, and Tom Dellow have been chosen to represent the Australian Schoolboys after their stellar performances at the national championships in Coffs Harbour.
These three players are homegrown talents who have come up through the ranks of Cronulla's elite pathways system since they were just young pups in the under 14s.
Williams, from the Aquinas club, Challenor from De La Salle Caringbah, and Dellow representing Como-Jannali, have shown they have what it takes to make it to the big leagues.
Challenor led his NSW Combined Catholic Colleges team to victory in the ASSRL Championships final with a commanding 40-12 win over a NSW Combined High Schools team.
Williams, the captain of the High Schools team, played alongside Dellow and fellow Shark Aaron Keppie in that match.
Dellow, who was hailed as the CHS Player of the Carnival, proved why he is the reigning Sharks Junior Representative Player of the Year.
Williams, known for his classy play in the centre position and his goal-kicking abilities, has earned his second Australian Schoolboys jersey after a standout performance against Papua New Guinea back in 2023.
These Schoolboys representatives didn't just impress on the national stage, they also made their mark in Cronulla's junior representative season.
Dellow, a tough and skillful lock, led the under-17 Harold Matthews Cup side to the second week of the finals, where they were narrowly defeated by the Magpies in a close 8-6 match.
The Sharks are proud to see their young talents shining bright and representing their country with passion and skill.
They truly embody the spirit of the great game of Rugby League.
