Four Sharks Selected in Australian Schools Teams
In a notable achievement for the Sharks' pathways and academy system, three Sharks contracted players have been named to the Australian Schoolboys team, while one player will represent the Australian Schoolgirls.
Following the national championship held in Coffs Harbour last week, Thomas Dellow, Jake White, and Callum Grantham earned spots on the Australian Schoolboys team, set to compete against Papua New Guinea later this year.
Felila Fakalelu distinguished herself in the girls' competition as a standout performer for NSW CHS and has been selected for the Australian Schoolgirls squad.
Sharks Development & Pathways Manager Glenn Brailey, who attended the carnival in northern NSW, was impressed by the performances of all players representing the Sharks academy and pathways.
Dellow, a dedicated lock and middle forward, has made the Australian Schoolboys team for the second consecutive year.
He also received the title of player of the series at the national All Schools carnival, which was won by Queensland.
