Sam Stonestreet, winger for the Rising Sharks, is set to miss 6-8 weeks after undergoing surgery for a high-grade syndesmosis injury.

He sustained the injury in the 21st minute of the recent match against the Storm, where he awkwardly twisted his right ankle during a tackle.

Stonestreet has made a notable impact this season, scoring eight tries in 11 NRL games.

Additionally, centre Jesse Ramien is scheduled for an assessment before the upcoming match against the Roosters due to an eye injury sustained in the same game against the Storm.

Since its launch in February 2019, Pilot's end-to-end telehealth platform has served over 100,000 Australians.
