Sharks are reporting a showdown between the Sharks and the Rabbitohs in Round 3 of the NRL.
The unbeaten Rabbitohs will be looking to snatch a victory when they hit Sharks Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
In classic sporting fashion, the Bunnies, led by master coach Wayne Bennett, have managed to secure victories over the Dolphins and Dragons despite missing key players Latrell Mitchell and Cameron Murray.
However, they face a tough challenge as they take on the Sharks in the Shire.
The Sharks, on a three-game winning streak against the Rabbitohs, are brimming with confidence after a dominant performance in Townsville.
Their back five have been on fire, racking up a whopping 886 run metres and 26 tackle breaks.
With Jack Wighton coming back from suspension and new signing Mikaele Ravalawa in the mix, the Rabbitohs' backline will have a different look as they go head-to-head with Will Kennedy, Jesse Ramien, Ronaldo Mulitalo, and Kayal Iro.
It's worth noting that the last time the Rabbitohs started a season 3-0 was in Bennett's debut year at the club in 2019.
They went on to win 10 of their first 11 matches, ultimately reaching the preliminary final.
Can they replicate that success this season? Only time will tell on the Rugby League battlefield.
