Battling of the Sharks: Royce Hunt set to face former teammates
In a clash of wills and muscle, Royce Hunt is gearing up to take on his former cronies from the Cronulla Sharks in Round 8.
Known for his tough-as-nails attitude and ability to enforce dominance on the field, Hunt will no doubt be looking to make a statement against his old mates.
Starting off his career with the Canberra Raiders, Hunt was thrown a lifeline by the Sharks back in 2020.
He quickly became a linchpin for the team, earning himself five caps for Samoa and helping the Sharks secure their place in the NRL Finals.
But all good things must come to an end, and Hunt found himself donning the jersey of the Wests Tigers this season, where he now finds himself in the trenches alongside Terrell May, Fonua Pole, and David Klemmer.
As the showdown at Leichhardt Oval looms large, Hunt is ready to run straight and hard against his former pack, while his old buddies, especially Braden Hamlin-Uele, are gearing up to face him head-on.
It's sure to be a clash of titans as Hunt looks to prove his worth against his former club.
